Realme X7 Pro review

Written by Alex

Realme is the company’s first launch in India after a short break. Its local availability was confirmed in November, raising the prospect of anticipation among fans. At its price in India, it aims to capture the sub-Rs 30,000 markets such as the OnePlus Nord, Xiaomi Mi 10i, and Samsung Galaxy M51.

For those curious, the Realme X7 Pro is not considered a successor to the Realme X3 series, but is the beginning of an entirely new series that is meant to show “the very best from Realme”.Realme X7 Pro review.

Plus, it ticks all the right boxes one would expect from a phone in this segment, with stereo speakers, a large battery with a habit-changing 65W fast charging, a versatile set of cameras and a segment-first 120 Hertz Super AMOLED Display.

What we don’t like about it is the lack of a headphone jack and micro SD card support and the fact that it still runs on Android 10. Stay tuned for our full Realme X7 Pro review where we reply that this is the best phone in India for Rs 30,000.

Display

Are you’re looking at a 6.55-inch Full HD + Samsung E3 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It is a 2.5D curved glass screen with 91.6% screen-to-body ratio. It has a punch-hold cutout on the left with a selfie shooter. It is also the cheapest phone with 120Hz and AMOLED screen combination.

Performance

The interesting things here we are talking about MediaTek Dimesity Series chipset. Realme X7 Pro is powered by the Dimension 1000 Plus processor. It is an octa-core processor built on a 7nm fabrication process and has a clock speed of 2.6Ghz. It is a 5G capable chipset.

But still we do not have a 5G network in India, it is a future-proof technology, which is Realme banking. The NFC is also onboard. The stereo-speaker setup on the board is excellent and gets louder and makes viewing content more enjoyable. Realme X7 Pro review

Camras

Cameras of realme phones always strong point in smartphones. The Realme X7 Pro has a primary 64MP Sony IMX 686 sensor with f / 1.7 aperture. It is followed by an 8MP (f / 2.25) ultra wide camera, 2MP black and white portrait lens and 2MP macro shooter. The 32MP punch-hole camera is taking a selfie.

Battery

Phone has a large 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W Super Dart charging, which claims to take 35 minutes to full charge. With the vapor cooling system, Realme X7 Pro should not overheat even while simultaneously charging and gaming.
